Active Learning in Sex and Relationships Education at Key Stage 2

Key Stage 2 teachers

Overview
This course will develop teacher confidence in delivering SRE safely through exploring and experiencing a range of active learning methods.

Course Outline
The course will examine active learning methodologies and how these apply to the SRE curriculum. Participants will experience some of these teaching  techniques for themselves recognising how this will enable all pupils including the most vulnerable to engage in this vital area of learning.  There will be a detailed look at active needs assessment strategies, differentiation and assessment within SRE. 

Learning Outcomes
Participants will have a challenging, interesting and active day from which they will take away active SRE methods and resources they can use in school.
