Health Promoting Schools can provide training in Circle Time and other listening systems, linking this to the whole school behaviour model. The training can include any of the following objectives:

• To use the structure of the Jenny Mosley Circle Time model and other listening systems ( www.circle-time.co.uk/)
• To examine how Circle Time develops emotional literacy and good self esteem in children
• To examine Circle Time and other Active Learning techniques and link these with the PSHCE Curriculum
• To look at our own well being linking this to the whole school model
• To look at the whole school behaviour management system

Circle Time provides the ideal group-listening system for promoting moral values, enhancing self-esteem and developing social and team skills. The system is democratic, involving all children and giving them equal opportunities and rights.
