Health Promotion Resource Service

The Resource Service is part of the Health Promotion Service based at Scarsdale in Chesterfield.

Resources are available to anyone who lives or works in Derbyshire County, and include a free loaning service with an extensive range of Health Promotion/Educational resources, including games, teaching packs, books, models, display boards, videos and DVDs. Leaflets, booklets and certain posters are also available free of charge.  It is advised that videos and DVDs should be fully previewed before use.

There is a selection of catalogues giving a brief description of individual items available for loan. If you would like to join and receive any of the catalogues, please complete both sides of the membership form and return it to the Health Promotion Resource Service.

In order to offer the best possible service, please make loan requests in advance, wherever possible, and return items promptly. A late return may mean that a pre-booked resource is unavailable for other members.   If you wish to use the free delivery and collection service, please try to give 10 days notice and refer to the delivery schedule for Derbyshire County.

Please feel free to call in and look around – the opening times are  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 9.00am – 4.30pm and Wednesday 9.00am – 12.00pm.

Your comments and observations on the materials we stock are welcomed, as are your suggestions for future acquisitions.
